Organic Waste: We can use composting as a way to “re-cycle” the food that we won’t eat. It’s better to compost that food because we are still using it but in another way.
How to reuse at home: As an example we can use wood pallets as support to our furniture and that’s very good to save the wood from those pallets.
How to reduce waste at home: Growing vegetables and aromatic herbs at home is a way to reduce buying packaged food and it gives an idea of how people in the countryside live. As another example we can use the 3 R’s rule: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

My grandparents have planted sustainable and environmental friendly organin walnut trees on this previously empty piece of land. Growing your own food can improve your health, save money and protect the environment. You avoud chemicals, pesticides and long distance transportation.
My Grandmother had these chairs and table and my father decided to keep and rebuild them instead of throwning them away. Reusing is important because instead of wasting we are giving the object a new use.
In the picture you can see a used coffee capsule, but instead of throwing it away you can reuse it by putting it in new coffee and once used, this coffee will serve as fertilizer for plants.
My father had several tyres to put in the rubbish and I preferred to reuse those tyres for small vegetable gardens.
The composting process took place in an old box, where all the non-consumable food and tree leaves became fertilizer to be put on the ground to plant new crops and preserve the environment. Composting has several benefits: reduction of waste, providing nutrients for the plants and soil and reduction of pollution.

As we human beings need oxygen to be able to breathe, planting trees is a good option because they are the ones that supply us with oxygen.
We reused this old tire to make plant pots, thus preventing from polluting the environment. We can all take some old things and turn them into something new.
Recycling, so old things can be turned into new things. The yellow eco-component is used to put the plastic, the blue eco-component is used to insert the paper, and the green is used to insert the glass. As you can see Recycling is very easy.
The plastic we send to rivers and lakes is harmful both to marine life and us, because these living beings swallow the plastic and then we will eat these animals. We can reuse this bottle to do various things like a piggy bank or to grow plants.

My parents chose to do domestic composting using organic matter, fruits, plants, leaves and food scraps. Thus producing fertilizers in a natural way without any chemicals.
In our house there is a concern to purchase items that are recyclable. Thus the material of these articles can be transformed and used again in other products.
This message is very important for humanity to be aware that we should not throw plastic into the sea, but rather recycle it on land. We will thus have the cleanest oceans and save the lives of thousands of marine species.
At home we have the concern and care to separate the garbage correctly, so that later it can be recycled more efficiently, thus reducing the garbage in the environment.
